Production Update

Hello everyone,
In previous updates, we mentioned the delays and challenges we’ve faced as a team. Although we believed those issues were behind us, unfortunately, they have continued. Understandably, some of you may think the project has failed. However, we’re happy to let you know that, as you read this, the PDF versions of both books are now available on your BackerKit dashboard.
The delays caused by the reasons we previously shared have severely impacted the agreements we made regarding production and shipping. These unfortunate developments have not only placed us under financial obligations due to contractual commitments but have also led to increased costs across the board. As a result, we now require more resources than we initially anticipated to complete the physical aspects of the project. While the dice sets, miniatures, most of the add-ons, and all digital assets are ready, we are now forced to find new partners for printing the books and producing the GM screens.
Long story short: the project has never been shelved or abandoned by us. Not being able to deliver something we've already created would be an enormous disappointment. We are still determined to complete this project properly even if significantly delayed. Our failure to see some risks and significant factors beyond our control have sadly cast a shadow over what was otherwise a successful campaign. But, we will deliver Desoation of Time like we delivered Shadow Over Vansreik before.
From the beginning, we’ve tried to maintain open and transparent communication with our backers. Any gaps in updates have been due to the same difficulties we've already mentioned. We are fully aware of our responsibilities, and through new partnerships, we remain committed to eventually delivering the physical books to you.
Please continue to follow the updates for further developments.
Have a nice sunday!
Digital Release Date

Hello everyone,
We have some exciting news to share! We're nearly finished with Desolation of Time — just one final boss fight away from completion. As you might guess, that final boss is proofreading!
We’ve set the digital release date for June 22, and we’re on track to meet it.
In the meantime, we’re still working through a few production issues, which we hope to resolve soon. We're doing our best to minimize delays (This delay is primarily due to the issues we mentioned in our earlier updates.), and once the digital version is released, we’ll follow up with an update specifically focused on the production phase.
Thank you for your patience and support — have a great day!
We Apologize for the Recent Silence

We would like to begin by assuring you that there have been no negative developments regarding the project, there is no cause for concern. However, we have recently encountered certain circumstances that significantly slowed our progress, even bringing it to a temporary halt for a few weeks. As you may be aware, our team is based across various cities in Turkey. Two of our team members, lead designer and project manager of the project, were recently taken into custody due to the large-scale events unfolding in Turkey. To make matters worse, some of us also faced some concerning medical issues within the team. It has truly been a hellish period for us. Fortunately, the situation was resolved without any serious consequences for them. Nevertheless, we are left with the time lost and the emotional toll of the experience.
Last week, our team was able to come together, and we’re glad to report that everyone is doing well and feels ready to return to work. We understand that you have questions about the current state of the Desolation of Time adventure module, the production timeline, and the tariffs. We will be sharing a detailed update later this week that will summarize everything and provide clear information.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for leaving you in the dark, and we appreciate your patience. Wishing everyone a pleasant Sunday.

The Road So Far, The Road Ahead
Hello everyone!
We've been going through a period where our production issues with Desolation of Time remain unresolved. Only a few small pieces of artwork were left, but due to some personal (and entirely valid) issues faced by our artists, we are still waiting for them. We hope it won’t take much longer.
The writing process is complete, but the playtesting and proofreading stages are progressing slower than expected. We are doing everything we can to speed up the process. However, our limited manpower and the seasonal cold and flu outbreaks certainly haven't made things any easier.
Despite all this, the book’s PDF version will be in your hands very soon! Hopefully this is the final update before all digital releases are complete.
Production of the Collector's Box items are going well, so no problems there so far. We just recieved the printed canvas maps and posters. They look great alongside the dice!
We are fully aware that we fell behind our timeline, but with a small team comes lots of challanges. We humbly ask for just a little more of your patience. Just need 1 or 2 more turns to slay this beast!
Here's a cool pic we took during one of our inside playtests. Don't worry, the names and locations seen on the cloth map are all working titles from an earlier version, so no spoilers below.

Book of Dead is Out!
Yes, you heard it right. Protection spells have been completed, all demons have been banished from our computers, and Book of Dead is finally here!
First and foremost, endless thanks to the dozens of backers among you who practically became testers by providing invaluable feedback. Your ideas and our own playtests led to some changes, particularly in the subclasses, and we are very happy with the result.
Looking at Book of Dead, we’re thrilled to see that we’ve fully achieved the art style we were aiming for. We hope you love this dark, grim, and malevolent book as much as we do.
Finally, we’d like to add that we’ll be conducting a few final checks before it goes to print and updating the PDF accordingly. We will let you know.
You can access the Book of Dead through your Backerkit dashboard now.
Behold! Lands of Exile Starter Setting Guide
Additionally, when you check your mailbox or Backerkit dashboard, you’ll notice that the LoE Starter Setting Guide has been delivered by our messenger owls. If you’ve read one of our previous books, Shadow Over Vansreik, you’ll already be familiar with it, but if this is your first venture into Teneris, a fascinating 50-page read awaits you. We particularly recommend it for lore enthusiasts.
For those who have already read the setting guide section, it now includes a few new tables, some minor changes, and updated visuals. It’s worth taking another look!
Desolation of Time is Just Around the Corner
As for Desolation of Time, since it is almost entirely an adventure module, it has been a much bigger task for us. The battlemap preparations are complete, and we’re no longer waiting on any artwork, but there are still parts that we’re not fully satisfied with and want to both revise and playtest further.
After making the changes we have in mind, we plan to conduct an in-person playtest next month here in Istanbul with some university clubs we’ve been in contact with. Following that, the digital version of DoT will be available to you as well.
After you receive the both digital versions, the printing process and the production of remaining collector's box materials will follow. We’ll continue to keep you updated through here.
Please read the disclaimer at the start of BoD. We can not and will not refund souls...
See you soon!
